1. Acceptance of terms

By using this website, submitting an inquiry or support request, or engaging Urias Tech for services, you agree to these Terms of Service. Urias Tech is operated by Alfonso Urias as a California sole proprietorship. If you do not agree, please do not use the site or our services.

2. Services

Urias Tech provides website design and development, Website Care & Maintenance, Website Growth & SEO, custom web application development, and IT Solutions consulting for small businesses. Specific deliverables, timelines, and pricing for any engagement are set out in a quote, proposal, or written agreement, not solely by marketing pages on this site.

3. Quotes, proposals, and scope of work

Website design starts at $850 for up to five standard informational pages, with additional standard pages at $100 each. This starting price applies to straightforward informational websites; it does not include advanced functionality. Final pricing for any project is confirmed after a project scope review and set out in your quote or proposal. If a signed proposal, quote, statement of work, service agreement, or other written agreement contains terms that conflict with these general Terms, the specific written agreement controls for that engagement.

4. Website projects and payments

Website project payment schedules, including any deposit, may be established through the applicable quote, proposal, or invoice. Completed work is generally billable and generally not refundable; a deposit may become non-refundable once work begins or resources have been committed on your behalf. 5. Recurring subscriptions: Website Care & Maintenance and Website Growth & SEO

Website Care & Maintenance ($149/month) and Website Growth & SEO ($349/month) are optional, recurring subscriptions billed automatically each billing cycle through Stripe’s hosted checkout and Customer Portal. You can review, manage, and cancel these subscriptions through the Billing page. Cancellation stops future renewals; see our Refund & Cancellation Policy for how partial periods are handled. Search engines are third-party platforms, and no ranking, traffic, or lead-volume outcome is guaranteed under Website Growth & SEO or any other service.

6. IT services

IT Solutions are quoted separately following a consultation to confirm scope, availability, authorized access, and any hardware, software, or subscription costs. Urias Tech does not advertise or perform work that requires a license we do not hold, including licensed electrical work or regulated structured-cabling work, unless explicitly confirmed in writing for a specific engagement.

7. Client responsibilities

You are responsible for providing accurate business information and content, obtaining any rights necessary to content you supply, reviewing and approving deliverables before launch, and responding to requests for feedback or approval in a timely manner.

8. Client-provided credentials and content

Where a project requires access to your existing accounts, hosting, domain registrar, or other systems, you are responsible for providing accurate credentials or access through a reasonably secure method, and for revoking access you no longer wish us to have. You represent that content you provide is accurate and that you have the right to use it; we do not independently verify business claims, licenses, or credentials you ask us to display.

9. Change requests, scope changes, and out-of-scope work

Work outside the scope described in your proposal, including additional pages, new features, a new design direction after approval, extra revision rounds, and advanced functionality not originally scoped, is out of scope and will be quoted separately before it proceeds.

10. Timelines, delays, and missing content or approvals

Project timelines depend on scope, availability, and how quickly you provide content, feedback, and approvals. Delays caused by missing content, missing approvals, or other client-caused delays may extend the schedule and are not treated as a failure by Urias Tech to meet a deadline.

11. Third-party services

Projects may depend on third-party services such as domain registrars, hosting providers, APIs, Stripe and other payment processors, software platforms, and other integrations. Urias Tech is not responsible for the availability, pricing, policies, or outages of third-party services, and third-party fees are not automatically included in our pricing.

12. Intellectual property

Unless your written agreement says otherwise, ownership of custom deliverables created specifically for your project transfers to you upon full payment. Urias Tech retains ownership of its own pre-existing code, templates, components, and internal tools used to deliver your project, and may reuse general-purpose, non-client-specific components in future work. Third-party and open-source software, fonts, and assets remain subject to their own license terms. Unless you request otherwise in writing, Urias Tech may reference completed public-facing work in its portfolio.

13. SEO disclaimer

Search engine rankings, traffic, leads, and revenue outcomes depend on many factors outside our control, including search engine algorithms, competition, and your business itself. Urias Tech does not guarantee any specific ranking, traffic increase, lead volume, or revenue outcome from Website Growth & SEO or any other service.

14. IT and data-loss limitations

Where backups are part of an agreed scope, Urias Tech will describe what is and is not covered. A basic website source backup is not a substitute for a database, application, or systems backup strategy; those requirements are addressed in a separate proposal where relevant. Urias Tech is not responsible for data loss arising from client systems, third-party services, or events outside our reasonable control.

15. Nonpayment, suspension, and cancellation

Urias Tech may pause or suspend services, including hosting or care services, for significant unresolved nonpayment, after reasonable notice where practical. Either party may cancel a recurring subscription as described in our Refund & Cancellation Policy; project-based engagements are cancelled according to the applicable proposal or, absent a specific term, upon reasonable written notice.

16. Acceptable and legal use

You agree not to use our services or this website for unlawful purposes, to submit content you do not have rights to, or to attempt to interfere with, abuse, or gain unauthorized access to our systems, including the free Website Check tool.

17. Warranty disclaimer

To the extent permitted by law, services and this website are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind beyond what is expressly stated in your written proposal.

18. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, Urias Tech’s aggregate liability arising from any engagement is limited to the amount you paid to Urias Tech for the specific service giving rise to the claim in the preceding 12 months, and Urias Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

19. Indemnification

Where appropriate, you agree to indemnify Urias Tech against claims arising from content you provide, your use of the delivered website or services in violation of these Terms, or your violation of applicable law.

20. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

21. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time; the “Last updated” date above reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
